IT’S THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT (AND I FEEL FINE)

It seems that the world has been on lockdown forever and it’s only been a few weeks. People are doing things differently, changing long held routines.

All my external projects ceased in the space of a few hours. Income dried up. People who owed me money stopped paying with no explanation. The BBC show is on pause.

As a Director of a Social Enterprise, I fall through every crack, no financial help is available to me.

I am a writer, that’s what I do, so I am going to continue to do my thing in the usual way. The only change is that I have stopped posting to twitter about getting up at 4.30am. Nobody wants to hear that.

I am healthy, got a roof over my head and food in my fridge.

My book ‘String Theory’ which is about mental health is free for anybody who needs it, just drop me a line and I will send the eBook.

I am a writer – I am used to long periods of isolation.

I work in the creative sector – I have always been ready for my world to go belly up overnight.
